Every now and then, the web is getting hit with new rumors regarding the Samsung Galaxy S4, which is successor to extremely popular Galaxy S3. Samsung enjoyed the peak of success with its Samsung Galaxy S3 which hit the market last year. The great success of Galaxy S3 has made everyone to wait for Galaxy S4 with immense curiosity. Each and every rumor comes with a new story with it. In this huge series of rumors about Samsung Galaxy S4, a new one just got added in the list. The new rumor about this upcoming flagship device from Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy S4, indicates that it might come up with Exynos 5 Octa-core (8-core) processors as the maker, the South Korean company Samsung unveiled this processor at CES event, which took place earlier in this month.
This unannounced Samsung flagship device has been spotted in AnTuTu benchmark. The data in the benchmark results give the indication that Samsung might put this just-unveiled process in its much awaited Samsung Galaxy S4. According to the online reports, the test was performed on two flagship devices of Samsung which the analysts are claiming to be GT-I9500 and SHV-E300S. Both are getting associated with the Samsung Galaxy S4.
The benchmark result also shows that this Exynos 5 chip is clocked at 1.8GHz, and the OS is to be Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, which is the latest version of Android. The past rumors were indicating that it would come up with Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie which itself is not announced yet. So that rumor was hard to accept.
Apart from the OS and Processor, the benchmark results have not showcased any feature of this yet-to-announce flagship smartphone by the South Korean Firm Samsung. But as the past rumors about the same say, it is expected to come with 2GB of RAM and a 13 megapixel rear camera. Not only is the Galaxy S4, all the flagship smartphones to be launched in this year expected to come up with same hardware specs.
This new rumor about the processor is most likely to enter into the clouds of reality as this would give strength to Galaxy S4 to compete with upcoming iPhone 5S, the biggest rival on the board.
Nothing can be said at this point. We will not let you miss any single update hitting the waves of web in this aspect. Stay tuned!
