As Computex is started today and lot of new Android devices announced. Acer has announced a new large screen Android smartphone, The Liquid S1 today at Computex in Taipei. It packs with 5.7 inch 720p display and targeted market is Asia and Europe and there are no plan to bring the smartphone to the US market.
The Acer Liquid S1 has 5.7 inch full HD display with maximum resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It has 1.5 GHz quad core processor alongside 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of internal storage with microSD card slot for father improvement of the memory up to 32 GB. The tablet has a 8 MP rear facing camera as well as a front facing camera. The phablet runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean os and powered by 2400 mAh battery.
Available in single- and dual-SIM versions, the smartphone features DTS Studio Sound, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The phablet also includes additional features for photo taking, video recording, and editing and creating media.
